Join us for an unforgettable 13-day journey from July 22 to August 3, 2016. We will be taking adults over 18 to World Youth Day in Krakow with Pope Francis and extending our trip before and after.

Arrive Warsaw, Poland (WAW), Niepokalanów (Maximiliano Maria Kolbe Convent) transfer to Czestochowa (Black Madonna)

Sun, Jul 24     3rd day          
Czestokowa (Visit to Sanctuary, and Mass in the Virgin’s Chapel, vespers) & Krakow

Mon, Jul 25    4th day         
Krakow-Auschwitz/Birkenau, the concentration camps where St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein) gave their lives.  Learn the history and visit the cell of St. Kolbe on your guided tour. Take time to pray for the victims of the holocaust.

Catechesis in the morning, WYD cultural events in the afternoon

Pilgrimage in the morning, Vigil with our Holy Father throughout the night

Krakow— Wadowice, the birth place of St. John Paul II.  Visit the home where Karol Wojtyla was born and raised, and the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary where he was Baptized and later Confirmed. Take time to pray, as young Karol did, before the miraculous image of our Lady of Perpetual Help - Zakopane (mountains) - Krakow

Wed, Aug 3   13th day       
Krakow– WAW (Warsaw). Return to Raleigh (RDU).

Total Cost:  Only $ 2,999 per person
 
 
Included: air fare RDU-WAW-RDU.  Transportation throughout the trip with guides.  Public transportation in Krakow. All entrance fees, lodging, insurance, three meals per day during WYD, breakfast if in hotels.
